Thanks so much for all the emails from everyone wishing Phil good luck for his prostrate test. BUT just to say that it didn’t go ahead yesterday. Poor boy woke up with stinking cough and cold and was violently sick just as we were leaving for the hospital. We went to the main X-ray unit, Phil undressed and got robed up. I had to laugh because the silly sod put it on the wrong way round! Anyway he told the doctor that he’d taken aspirin for pain relief in the morning and she said because of the high risk of internal bleeding there was no way she could carry out the biopsy. In a way I’m pleased because I’m not certain he would have been fit enough for work today. We are rescheduled for Friday the 17th of Dec. Phil liked the doctor that's going to be doing the procedure and I think he will feel more relaxed when his has to go back in a couple of weeks.
